A leading professional services and law firm is seeking a Private Client Estates Manager to join its well-regarded Estates team. You'll take ownership of a varied caseload involving taxable and non-taxable estates, often with high-value and trust-based structures such as discretionary wills, NRB wills, or life interest trusts.

A people-first culture that values flexibility, autonomy, and long-term progression
Opportunity to handle sophisticated estate matters with tax and trust elements
Exposure to wider private client and advisory work
Key responsibilities:
Managing estate administration matters from start to finish
Preparing and submitting IHT returns, including use of relevant allowances (e.g. NRB, TNRB)
Experience or awareness of business relief and agricultural relief welcomed
Drafting estate accounts and liaising with tax professionals and advisers
Supporting more junior colleagues and collaborating with senior team members
Familiarity with Probate Registry systems and HMRC processes
What we're looking for:
Strong experience in estate administration and/or private client tax
ATT or CTA qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of trusts, inheritance tax, and relevant allowances
Strong communication, organisational, and self-management skills
Ability to manage a varied caseload with accuracy and initiative
Why this firm?
This is a firm with a clear commitment to people, flexibility, and professional excellence. The culture encourages autonomy, values diverse experience, and supports flexible working arrangements that empower you to do your best work-wherever you're based.
