A leading legal firm in Scotland is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 2–6 years of PQE. The role involves managing a varied portfolio, including wills and estate planning, with a strong emphasis on client relationships and tailored solutions. Candidates should have experience in private client matters and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The firm supports a culture of care and progression, allowing for meaningful client interactions.
This is a chance to join a firm that was built from the ground up in private client work—never forgetting why. From day one, their model has focused on care, clarity and continuity. They chose not to chase volume or run bloated caseloads; instead, they backed a simple idea: give people time, treat every matter as personal, and the quality of the client experience will speak for itself. The practice has grown by recommendation and reputation, investing steadily in talented lawyers and the systems that let them focus on what matters most—their clients.
They’re now looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor at associate level (around 2–6 years’ PQE). You’ll handle a genuinely varied portfolio across wills, executries, trusts, powers of attorney, estate planning and related tax advice. The client base ranges from individuals and families to high‑net‑worth clients with complex affairs, and the expectation is that you’ll have the time and space to do the job properly—meeting clients, understanding what’s important to them, and shaping clear, practical solutions that stand up over time.
You’ll work closely with experienced senior lawyers who are generous with their time, and you’ll be encouraged to build lasting relationships. The team offers a transparent route to further progression as it continues to grow, with a culture where client care is foundational rather than slogan.
