A look into the role

As an Assistant Manager within our Private Capital Corporate Tax team, you will:

  1. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients consisting of owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed, and large groups, supporting them on their corporation tax affairs. This includes annual corporation tax work, specialist claims, and tax advisory projects such as project financing and transactions.
  2. You will supervise/review work prepared by junior team members, reporting directly to Partners and Directors in most cases.
  3. You’ll deliver corporate tax compliance services, oversee and manage your own client portfolio, liaise with Audit and other teams, and become the main contact for your clients. You’ll also coach and develop junior staff, seek new business opportunities, and participate in pitches and proposals.
  4. You will organize the delivery of tax work, solve problems daily, and build your internal and external network by being the key client contact. You should be commercially minded with a clear understanding of client needs.
