Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager in our Private Capital Corporate Tax team, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed, and large groups, supporting their corporation tax affairs, including annual compliance and specialist claims, as well as tax advisory projects like project financing and transactions.
• Supervise and review work by junior team members and report directly to Partners and Directors.
• Deliver corporate tax compliance, audit, and advisory services, overseeing your own client portfolio, liaising with audit colleagues and other teams, and becoming the main client contact.
• Coach and develop junior staff, seek new business opportunities, and participate in pitches and proposals.
• Organize tax work delivery, solve problems, and build your internal and external networks, enhancing communication skills and collaboration. Be commercially minded with a clear understanding of client needs.
