A leading banking institution in London seeks a Private Banking Assistant fluent in Arabic to support Relationship Managers with client communication and compliance tasks. Private Banking Assistant (Arabic speaker)

Location: Central London

Job purpose: The Private Banking Assistant supports Relationship Managers in their daily activities, including account management, client communication, and compliance tasks.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Prepare account opening packs, conduct risk assessments, and communicate with new clients.
  2. Manage client relationship transfers.
  3. Handle debit card orders, activations, cancellations, and fraud investigations.
  4. Assist clients with internet banking registration and support.
  5. Prepare and follow up on credit-related documentation and risk modelling.
  6. Communicate fund status updates to clients as needed.
  7. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with security protocols.
  8. Follow bank policies including SOPs and anti-financial crime measures.
  9. Perform duties diligently and work closely with relationship managers on various tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications: University degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

Experience: Up to 3 years in banking, with knowledge of financial markets, bank products, and systems. Understanding of Middle Eastern culture and fluency in Arabic are required.
