Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen at a leading bank in the City for a Privacy Manager to support the successful delivery of the Privacy Risk programme. The bank has recently undergone a significant transformation with an ongoing Privacy project aimed at establishing a robust Privacy framework across the entire organization. The successful candidate will play an integral role in this project.

You will be responsible for managing team members within Privacy Risk, providing guidance, development, coaching, driving performance management, and supporting career development.

The team promotes, enhances, and maintains good first line of defence responsibility for Privacy risk as defined in the bank's Risk taxonomy.

You will support and advise the business on key change initiatives, ensuring adherence to the global privacy framework and control standards. Additionally, you will manage the maintenance of the Record of Processing, support the completion of Privacy Risk Assessments, and drive initiatives that improve privacy risk management across the bank.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the Privacy agenda and capable of influencing senior stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential to present complex concepts clearly to the business.
