Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Privacy Engineer to join the Global Privacy Team in the UK. You will partner with Research, Design and Development and Connectivity to integrate privacy requirements into product design, advocate for Privacy by Design, and support global privacy initiatives across regions.

The role reports to the Head of Privacy and involves ongoing advisory, risk assessment and training to stakeholders to ensure lawful, ethical, and responsible data use across Dyson’s technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of privacy compliance experience in a global context.
• Experience integrating privacy requirements into product development.
• Strong knowledge of data protection laws and emerging tech.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders regionally or globally.
• Relevant degree in technology, law or business and privacy qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point-of-contact for privacy matters within RDD and Connectivity.
• Provide expert privacy compliance advice for new projects involving personal data.
• Apply Privacy by Design from early stages of product development and lead impact assessments.
• Monitor evolving privacy laws and guidance to maintain compliance.
• Support the Global Privacy Team’s ongoing compliance activities.
