Job summary

Dyson Institute is seeking a privacy compliance expert to advise stakeholders across Dyson's global business. You will be the first contact for privacy matters in the EMEA region, support ongoing privacy programs, and lead privacy assessments and training.

You will monitor evolving laws to keep Dyson compliant and strategically aligned with regulatory expectations. The role requires 3–5 years in a legal/compliance setting within a global company, a relevant degree (law or business), and privacy

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a legal or compliance‑related role within a global company
• Degree qualification in law or business
• Strong knowledge of privacy and data protection laws (EU GDPR and UK/local laws)
• Privacy-related qualifications (CIPM or CIPP/E)
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders regionally or globally
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation, advise on compliance, and work with risk and governance frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and professional privacy compliance advice to stakeholders across Dyson's business and operations globally
• Act as the first point of contact for privacy‑related matters escalated by stakeholders in the EMEA region
• Support the Global Privacy Team's ongoing privacy compliance activities
• Undertake privacy assessments with stakeholders and plan visits to Dyson Markets and offices to assess privacy compliance
• Deliver training and monitor evolving laws, rules, regulations and guidance to maintain compliance and strategic alignment
