We operate 24/7, covering various shifts. Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the role, which may include unpredictable finishing times. A rota is provided in advance to help you plan your time off.
About the Role:
As a PCO at our court, you’ll work in a team to provide safe escort and custody services, focusing on the physical and mental wellbeing of detainees. Responsibilities include escorting defendants in court and cells, searching property or individuals, ensuring food and drinks are available, and completing paperwork and data entry.
What you need to do the job:
Previous experience is not essential. We value commitment to making a difference. You will undergo a 5.5-week training course and learn from experienced colleagues. A valid driver’s license, good physical fitness, and strong communication skills are preferred. An interest in criminology or psychology is a plus.

Online assessment -> Briefing call -> Virtual competency interview -> Role-play and written exercise.
Additional Information:
Roles are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and require Ministry of Justice Enhanced Level 2 checks, including DBS checks and employment references.
