About

How about 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), family-friendly policies, and even two duvet days a year? One Glassdoor review sums it up perfectly:

Genuinely changes lives, that's what I enjoyed. The people I worked with were amazing, passionate, dedicated, and really committed to helping clients.

This role could be a great move for someone currently working within the prison service who wants to transition into a more support-focused position. There’s lots of training and shadowing to help you learn the ropes.

We have two vacancies: one based at HMP Leeds, and one at HMP Wealstun. Each role also includes 12 days per week at Askham Grange, a nearby resettlement prison.

You’ll work with individuals preparing for release, offering 1:1 casework and helping them overcome barriers related to housing, employment, finance, relationships, and more. This is a frontline role with no groupwork; the focus is on tailored, meaningful support.

To Apply, You’ll Need

  • Experience supporting prison leavers, vulnerable adults, or working within the criminal justice system
  • Ideally, existing prison vetting (but strong candidates without it will be considered)
