Job summary

NHS Forth Valley Prison Healthcare is recruiting a Skilled Prison Nurse with an interest in primary care to join our team. This fixed term/secondment opportunity supports improved service delivery within a multi-disciplinary, integrated team.

You will deliver high quality care in a unique environment, collaborating with the Scottish Prison Service and wider agencies to meet complex health needs and provide trauma-informed, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Must be a first level registered nurse with NMC registration.
• Willingness to travel within the service area and work shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and treatment within primary care nursing in a prison setting.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with the Scottish Prison Service and wider agencies.
• Be prepared for rotational duties and to travel across the service area.
