Job summary

Practice Plus Group - Health in Justice is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for HMP Stocken in Oakham. The role is full-time with a salary between £34,428 and £41,659 per year, with a focus on medicines management and patient-centred care within a prison setting.

The pharmacy team includes a Pharmacist and Dispenser, offering bespoke induction, CPD, and clear progression paths. Applicants must have UK right to work and will undergo vetting checks.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent.
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD).
• Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred care and respond to patient feedback.
• Maintain medicines management and keep patient records up to date.
• Follow standard operating procedures to high and orderly standards.
• Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
