Job summary

Ministry of Justice at HMP Humber is seeking a Non-operational Prison Offender Manager (CW) to lead the management and assessment of selected low to medium risk prisoners, and to prepare, implement and review sentence plans with them. This role focuses on building constructive, professional relationships to support rehabilitation and reduce reoffending.

This is a non-operational, rotational role with prisoner-facing duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in offender management and risk assessment (low to medium risk).
• Ability to work with prisoners and staff to promote safety and rehabilitation.
• Willingness to rotate duties and participate in prisoner-facing activities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake offender management tasks with low to medium risk cases.
• Support probation officers in high risk cases.
• Coordinate sentence plans and liaise with partners.
• Prepare documentation and attend meetings.
• Use OASys and PNOMIS/IT systems to manage records.
• Contribute to public protection and release decisions.
