An established industry player in rehabilitation services is seeking a dedicated Prison Offender Manager to join their team at HMP Parc. In this key role, you will manage a caseload of prisoners, helping them navigate their rehabilitation journey. You'll work closely with various departments and external partners to ensure that prisoners receive the necessary support and resources for successful reintegration into society. Within Care and Rehabilitation Services, the philosophy of our prisons is to rehabilitate offenders and equip them to re-integrate into mainstream society on release. Our training and operational practices emphasise the need to treat prisoners with dignity and respect and G4S staff build positive and supportive relationships with the prisoners in their care. HMP & YOI Parc accommodates 1038 convicted male adult prisoners and remand/ convicted young offenders and young people in a secure but modern environment.
We now have an opportunity for a Prison Offender Manager to join our team at HMP Parc.
This is a key role in the rehabilitation and risk management of prisoners in custody. As a Prison Offender Manager, you will work within the Offender Management Unit supporting people in prison progress through their sentence. This will include understanding, assessing and managing risk. You will be key in coordinating the prisoner’s sentence, collaborating with all departments, and external partners, to ensure that prisoners access the rehabilitative opportunities they need in custody, and facilitating engagement with key resettlement services in readiness for release. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of prisoner groups, and develop your knowledge, understanding and competency considerably in this role.
