Prison Nurses Required in Maghaberry

Join us in providing vital healthcare services to individuals within Northern Ireland's correctional facilities. We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team to work ahoc day shifts across summer months

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day healthcare, including health assessments, medication administration, and care coordination for those in custody.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage chronic conditions, ensuring inmates have appropriate care and medication.
• Deliver health education, health promotion, and disease prevention services to promote well-being.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with healthcare regulations and prison policies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Registered Nurse (RN): Must hold a valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
• Experience: 1 year’s prior experience working as an RN in UK, ideally in mental health, general nursing, or emergency care. Correctional healthcare experience is beneficial, but not essential.
