Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to support prisoners during their first 14 days in custody. You will perform reception screening, undertake comprehensive mental health assessments within 14 days, and contribute to crisis planning and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Screen new prisoners on entry day to identify immediate health, risks, and safety needs.
• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments and obtain collateral as part of screening.
• Develop initial crisis plans for patients at risk and review as part of nursing process.
