Responsibilities

• Assist with management of a caseload of Prison Law matters.
• Conduct initial consultations and gather information.
• Undertake legal research and assist solicitors.
• Liaise with clients, prisons, and courts.
• Prepare correspondence and legal documents.
• Maintain accurate electronic case files.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely work.
• Attend prisons, courts, and hearings when required.
• Provide regular updates to clients with sensitive communication.
• Support legal aid administration and case records.
• General administrative duties and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues for adequate case coverage.
