Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland seeks a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker for HMP & YOI Stirling. You will provide day-to-day support to the nursing team, work autonomously within competencies and contribute to high-quality, person-centred care in a secure prison setting.

The role requires PVG scheme membership, SVQ3 or equivalent healthcare experience, and competency in venepuncture. Some travel to other Forth Valley sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare with SVQ3 or equivalent.
• Competency in venepuncture.
• Ability to work within PVG scheme and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of support to the nursing team.
• Work autonomously within competencies in a prison setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve health and wellbeing of patients.
