Job summary

Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in a prison healthcare setting. You will help deliver individualised care, perform health observations and support clinics under supervision.

We welcome applicants with NVQ Level 3 and care experience, with access to NHS pension, flexible working, training and development opportunities, and up to 33 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Care experience and a commitment to high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised care for patients in a prison healthcare setting.
• Carry out physical health observations and support clinics (e.g., phlebotomy, ECG, NHS health checks).
• Assist with sexual health, health promotion and delivery of agreed care packages.
• Work under supervision of a qualified nurse/practitioner and maintain high standards of care.
