Job summary

Practice Plus Group is recruiting a General Practitioner to join the HMP Lewes healthcare team in Lewes, East Sussex. The role involves providing high-quality clinical care in a prison setting and supporting intake in reception with a multidisciplinary team.

This part-time position is 24 hours per week, with a flexible 4-hour session structure and competitive salary up to £134,680 FTE depending on experience.

Qualifications

• MBChB or MBBS qualification and GMC registration.
• GP Performers List and evidence of annual appraisal.
• Experience as a General Practitioner in community/general practice.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality healthcare to a diverse patient group in the prison.
• Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis and timely management decisions.
• Act as a specialist resource to the healthcare team on site.
• Involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.
