Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and licence to practise.
• Experience in primary care with strong clinical decision-making.
• Understanding of safeguarding and healthcare in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide full GP services including consultations, clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
• Manage chronic diseases, acute presentations, and mental health conditions.
• Contribute to management of substance misuse and detox pathways.
• Work with nursing staff, mental health professionals, pharmacists, and external providers.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes.
• Maintain clinical records using prison EHR system.
• Take part in clinical governance and quality improvement.
