Job summary

Prison Advice and Care Trust (Pact) is seeking a Family Engagement Manager to lead Pact’s family services at HMP Send, aligning with contractual and prison security requirements and Pact’s standards. You will deliver family-focused casework, assessments, advocacy and facilitate visits both in person and online.

You will also oversee the Visits Centre and its staff to ensure a positive visitor experience, while promoting prisoners’ health and well-being for their families and significant others.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating a broad service with multi-agency partners.
• Excellent customer service and IT skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding workload and plan development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Pact’s family engagement services at HMP Send.
• Deliver family-focused casework including assessments and advocacy.
• Manage the Visits Centre and staff for a positive visitor experience.
• Promote the health and well-being of prisoners’ families and significant others.
