Job summary

Gov Facility Services Limited at HMP Highpoint is seeking Housekeepers for 39 hours per week, permanent/full-time (part-time hours negotiable). You will help maintain clean, safe environments across accommodation, facilities and communal spaces, contributing to rehabilitation and daily operation.

We offer holidays of 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays, with non‑contractual benefits including Death in Service, private GP access and an Employee Assistance Programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or hygiene‑critical environments.
• Basic Food Safety / Hygiene Certificate – Essential.
• Understanding of safe working practices, including COSHH.
• Ability to prioritise routine tasks with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a customer‑facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality housekeeping across residential accommodation, meeting/conference facilities, offices, washrooms, catering environments and communal spaces.
• Maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments to support daily site operations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across trades to ensure smooth running of the site.
