Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a dedicated Handy Person (Escort/Fabric Operative) at HMP Huntercombe to support the Facilities Maintenance Team. The role involves working within a secure prison environment, using hand and power tools, and ensuring safety and compliance across maintenance tasks.

Ideal candidates will have prison experience (desirable), a First Aid at Work certificate, and Level 2 English/Maths.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of prison environment (Desirable).
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Experience in building fabric / Hard FM environment.
• First Aid at Work qualification (up to date).
• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

• Maintain and service building fabric in a prison environment.
• Collaborate with maintenance colleagues to ensure safe, secure operations.
• Assist in delivering a clean, well-maintained estate for staff and prisoners.
