Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is recruiting for a prison escort role at HMP Highpoint. The position offers a full-time pattern, Monday to Friday with flexibility between 7am and 5pm, and a starting hourly rate of £14.41 with overtime to £25.22.

You will escort contractors onto and off-site, verify IDs, manage vehicle access, review tool lists, and monitor safety, PPE and sign-in/out while maintaining high security standards.

Responsibilities

• Escort contractors to and from work areas, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Verify ID, assist with check-in and ensure documentation is in order.
• Manage contractor vehicle entry when required.
• Check contractors' tool lists for compliance.
• Obtain authorisation for contractor movement within the facility.
• Monitor sign-in/out, PPE use and report concerns.
• Maintain safety communications via radio and assist in emergencies.
