Job Description

This is a unique catering role offering the opportunity to apply your qualifications in a meaningful environment. You will work in a professional industrial kitchen, overseeing offenders in preparing nutritious meals, while supporting their skill development and qualification attainment to aid their reintegration into society.

Hours and Salary

You will work 37 hours per week, with shift patterns including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. An unsocial hours allowance of 20% is payable for these hours.

The salary range is Band 3, from £32,448 to £34,166 including the unsocial hours allowance. Part-time and job share options may be available.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 2 certificate in food production within hospitality and catering or equivalent
  • Food hygiene certificate at Level 2
Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of current health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Competency in an industrial kitchen environment
  • Proficiency in English

Refresher training in food safety (HACCP) is required every three years.
