A regional educational institution in Omagh is seeking a Finance/Administration Officer to manage finance functions for the PRISM programme. Project Description
PRISM – Powering Research & Innovation for Sustainable Manufacturing – is a cross-border initiative supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). PRISM brings together SMEs and leading research organisations to accelerate the development of low-carbon products and processes across three advanced manufacturing clusters: mineral processing, polymer processing, and agrifood. The programme will support 24 SMEs to implement bespoke decarbonisation plans, driving economic growth, innovation, and reduced carbon emissions.
Role Purpose
The PRISM Finance / Administration Officer will be responsible for supporting the Project Development and Delivery Manager and leading the finance and administration functions across the programme. This will include implementing robust administrative systems, coordinating project meetings, preparing reports for management and funders, and assisting partners with compliance procedures. A key focus of the role will be coordinating financial claims and returns to SEUPB, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to funder requirements. The post holder will also manage programme expenditure, support procurement, prepare budget profiles, and contribute to the overall success and accountability of PRISM.
