Job description

Prints & Editions Specialist

MyArtBroker is seeking an experienced Specialist to join the Sales Team.

MyArtBroker exists to provide best-in-class access to the Modern & Contemporary Prints and Editions market, connecting collectors with the artworks they most want to buy and the strongest opportunities when they decide to sell.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced art market professional to join our specialist team.

This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in auctions, private sales, galleries, art advisory, or brokerage. Whether your expertise lies in securing consignments, placing works with collectors, or both, we are looking for someone who understands how to build trusted client relationships and successfully guide transactions from initial conversation through to completion.

You will work directly with collectors, helping them buy and sell works by some of the most sought-after names in the prints and editions market. You will manage opportunities across the full transaction lifecycle, from valuation and consignment strategy through to buyer matching, negotiation, and sale.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial instincts with excellent client service and a genuine passion for the art market.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with collectors, advisors, dealers, galleries, and other art market participants.

  • Convert inbound opportunities into consignments and sales.

  • Advise clients on market conditions, pricing strategy, timing, and routes to market.

  • Source and secure high-quality consignments.

  • Match artworks with qualified buyers from our global collector network.

  • Negotiate transactions and guide deals through to successful completion.

  • Proactively develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and relationship-building.

  • Utilise market intelligence, sales data, and client insights to identify opportunities and trends.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and CRM records.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to maximise client engagement and conversion.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the art market, ideally in auctions, private sales, galleries, advisory, or brokerage.

  • Demonstrable success in either consignment acquisition, private sales, brokerage, or a combination of these disciplines.

  • Strong knowledge of the Modern & Contemporary prints and editions market.

  • Experience managing high-value transactions and sophisticated collector relationships.

  • Existing network of collectors, advisors, dealers, or industry contacts.

  • Proven ability to build trust and convert opportunities into completed transactions.

  • Commercially minded with strong negotiation skills.

  • Highly organised and capable of managing a large and active pipeline.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable using data, technology, and market insights to drive performance and improve client outcomes.
