Job summary

Sonoco, a global packaging leader, is seeking a Print Planner for our Newcastle tinplate printing site. You will support day-to-day manufacturing planning, coordinate materials, and maintain accurate data to ensure on-time delivery and efficient plant operations.

Ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience, strong ERP skills, and a Graduate-level qualification. 2–4 years in planning or administrative roles is preferred, with attention to detail and cross-team collaboration in a

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• 2–4 years in similar planning/administrative roles.
• Strong ERP systems knowledge and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain weekly production plans based on orders and material availability.
• Check tinplate/material availability; coordinate with warehouse for prep.
• Maintain planning data in ERP and ensure shop-floor alignment.
• Track progress and flag deviations from plan.
• Participate in daily plant meetings and update plans as needed.
• Monitor shipments and verify production plan numbers.
• Liaise with raw material suppliers to support continuity of supply.
