Please note: While this position is advertised as a Print & POS Production Manager, we are open to considering a Senior Production Manager title for exceptional candidates with the right experience and skills.

Role Requirements

  • Location: London, UK. We will not be able to consider candidates outside of London or without a right to work in the UK.
  • Hybrid role - Weekly visits with the Client
  • Applicants should demonstrate business-level or native-level proficiency in both written and spoken English, with a strong ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both.

The Production Centre is a hub of delivery excellence, formed by a multicultural team of production experts who deliver marketing materials across EMEA. In a nutshell, the Production Centre boosts business growth, driving efficiencies and performance.

Purpose of the role

The Production Manager manages the production of high-level spending and strategic projects while facing clients directly supporting strategy and satisfaction.

  • Manage POS projects/campaigns ensuring timely and high-standard completion.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver marketing materials on time and to specifications, adhering to SLAs and contractual agreements.
  • Provide technical input and advice on print projects as needed.
  • Take comprehensive briefs from clients and manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Create detailed specifications for internal and external clients.
  • Work as a team to meet contractual obligations, prepare presentations, and complete account administration and reporting.
  • Collaboration with our suppliers to ensure the best service standards.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key client and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Support in operational information processes and Reporting.
  • Accountable for Compliance.
  • Negotiate costings and timescales for each job and select the most appropriate supplier.

Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure

The Production Manager will likely have 3+ years of print/POS production management experience, and relevant project management experience will also be considered positively.

  • 3-5 years of print / POS production and general operational print experience.
  • Relevant project management or supplier liaison and sourcing experience will also be considered positively.
  • Experience in POS project management; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and technical skills in print processes.
  • Previous experience working in print/ print management/ print buying/ marketing print procurement essential.
  • Has a high level of print, 2D and 3D POS knowledge with a detailed understanding of different techniques.
  • Experience in a client-facing role is essential with the ability to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to deliver and exceed their expectations successfully.

  • Ability to work in a high-energy environment, with a good sense of humour.
  • Has a project management mindset and is used to running campaigns.

Temperament for the role

  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude, setting an example for team members.
  • Curious mind and genuine interest in internal operations.
  • Accountable taking ownership of your work, delivering results, and taking responsibility for your actions.
  • Collaboration is also vital. You must have a 'we, not me' mentality and be willing to support team members who may be struggling.
