Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting for a Print Assistant in Wolverhampton to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent role with training provided and the chance to develop skills within production.

Hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. The successful candidate will load/unload materials, prepare supplies and maintain a clean, safe production area.

Qualifications

• Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail is required to check materials and records.
• Team-working attitude with the ability to use own initiative.
• Reliability and a hardworking approach are important for this busy production area.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures in a production environment.
• Full training will be provided; prior experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials to support the production process.
• Preparing and supplying materials as required.
• Checking materials are correctly labelled and stored.
• Recording material usage in line with company procedures.
• Maintaining appropriate material levels throughout production.
• Handling waste materials in accordance with company procedures.
• Keeping the production area clean, tidy and safe.
• Supporting cleaning and basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Ensuring work areas and equipment are maintained to the required standard.
• Completing relevant paperwork and production records.
