You will complete a qualification alongside the role.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Maintain Health and Safety within a print-related work environment
  • Communicate and work with others in the print working environment
  • Knowledge of the organisation's printing processes and related information
  • Keep equipment clean and in working order
  • Operate flexo printing machines
  • Assist in all areas within the manufacturing of labels to ensure a broader understanding of the business
  • Promote and maintain Health and Safety in a print-related environment
  • Contribute to improving the effectiveness of the print organisation
  • Plan work to meet production requirements
  • Maintain all systems in working order
  • Gain a greater understanding of the print industry
  • Control the use of variable data with printing machines
  • Gain a better understanding of the mechanical running of the machine
  • Provide improvement ideas for the site in all aspects

Key Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above, including Maths & English
  • Highly motivated, eager to learn and loyal
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) at all times
  • Great attention to detail
  • Organised and calm under pressure
  • Friendly, approachable and flexible – a team player
  • Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates a “can do” attitude
  • Travel may be required; therefore, a current, clean driving licence is an advantage but not essential
