Job summary

PMWEB Print in Wakefield is seeking a Folding Operator for a full-time on-site role. You will set up, operate, and monitor folding machines to process leaflets, brochures, magazines, and other print materials.

You will adjust settings, perform basic maintenance, and ensure folding accuracy while following production schedules and coordinating with presses and finishing teams. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial folding or finishing equipment in print/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production specifications with accuracy.
• Knowledge of basic quality control including visual inspection of print quality, alignment, and fold accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple jobs and meet production deadlines.
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe operation of machinery.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with print, finishing and dispatch teams.
