Print Finisher
Tottenham
£25,000 – £35,000 DOE
Afternoon shift (Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm)

My client is a pioneer within the marketing and communications side of the print industry. Due to continued growth, they’re currently seeking an experienced Print Finisher to join their team. Within the role you’ll report to the finishing manager, assisting the business in providing their range of services to their customers’ specifications.

The Role:

1. To operate and maintain Polar Guillotines, Stahl Folders, Muller & Heidelberg Stitching Lines and Multi Mailer & Glueing Machines.
2. To be able to operate a PC and understand the company’s management information systems regarding job bags, delivery systems etc.
3. Undertake support tasks as required by the Finishing Manager.
4. Help to achieve team and individual targets as set by the Finishing Manager.
5. Maintain a tidy and clean work area ensuring that the work area is kept in a clean and orderly manner.
6. Understand and adhere to the company policies and procedures with particular emphasis on quality and health and safety.

The Candidate:

1. 2 years proven record of experience as a print finisher.
2. Experience operating Polar Guillotines, Stahl Folders, MBO folders, Muller Martini Stitchers, Heidelberg Stitching Lines and Multi Mailer & Glueing Machines. Training is provided if you don’t have experience operating all of these.
3. Able to follow written and verbal instructions, with attention to detail.
4. Team player, able and willing to assist other members of the team.
5. Able to maintain good discipline, standards, initiative, and drive.
6. Good time keeping and attendance.
7. A willingness to work overtime at quite short notice and to cover holidays and sickness as required.

Salary Benefits:
This is a full-time position working on the late shift, Monday – Friday, 2pm-10pm – 37.5 hours per week. Based on experience, the salary for this role is up to £35,000 plus benefits including generous holiday allowance, regular overtime, ongoing training and support, and company pension.
