Overview

The Print Design Admin Assistant for Childrenswear provides strong administrative support to the Design team as well as design-based tasks. Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will work collaboratively across the design departments and be an integral part of the team.

All tasks will be approached with positivity and resilience, and being a team player is essential. The Boden values will be reflected in all areas of work, along with an understanding and affinity with the Boden core customer.

Location

3-4 days per week based at our North Acton Office.

What You Will Do

• PLM management including uploading of tech packs/artworks, colours, and setting up BOMS.
• Email and supplier correspondence.
• Sample management from brought to development samples.
• Approval of trims, strike-offs, artworks & lab dips.
• CP management.
• Colour palette work including creating colour palettes, ordering colours, and managing colour processes.
• Support setting up seasonal Miro boards, building garment range boards, keeping boards updated during the creative process, and archiving at the end of each design block.
• Sketch into samples/shapes/prints/logos, dropping in print where directed.
• Embroidery & artwork packs.
• Research into competitors and inspirational brands.
• Meeting prep: assisting with setup of rooms with print outs and/or samples.
• Design tracker management.
• Organising copyright process.

What We Are Looking For

• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards all aspects of work.
• Good basic knowledge of competitor & aspirational brands.
• Keen interest in colour/print.
• Excellent CAD skills including Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
• PLM experience is preferable.
• BA Hons in Fashion Design, Print, Illustration, or Textiles.
• A relevant internship would be desirable.
