Job summary

Cornflower in Newbury is seeking a dedicated Assistant Estimator and Print Buyer to support our museum retail printing and product costings. This full-time, on-site role works with in-house production and external suppliers to prepare quotes and manage purchasing.

You will develop accurate costings, track production schedules, maintain supplier records, and help identify cost efficiencies while ensuring sustainable, on-brand outputs for our museum clients.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in print estimating, print buying, or production coordination.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and business software for costings, data entry, and record-keeping.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in sustainable sourcing and environmental standards like FSC.

Responsibilities

• Support the estimating process for print and product orders.
