Job Description:

To help administer the Quality Management Systems (QMS) at Ransom Naturals Limited. The role holder will conduct batch release, deviations investigations, change controls, root cause analysis, and other quality documents to the requirements of EU GMP, BRC Food Safety Standard, and other applicable territories regulations. The role also involves supporting workload organization within the QA Department to ensure the right first-time manufacture, testing, reporting, and release of pharmaceuticals and food and beverage products.

Key responsibilities and duties:
  • Ensure products are fit for purpose before release for use or commercial sale.
  • Maintain and improve QMS performance by ensuring deviations, CAPA, and change control items are progressed in a compliant and timely manner.
  • Support QA manager in leading remediation projects.
  • Assist in QA training initiatives.
  • Support the maintenance of the site QMS and report relevant KPIs.
  • Investigate and communicate customer or supplier complaints.
  • Handle customer requests and queries promptly.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
  • Author and approve routine QMS activities and perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Author, review, and approve Controlled Documents.
  • Coordinate QA workload to facilitate right first-time performance.
  • Report and escalate Quality performance indicators.
  • Support GMP training and internal audit programmes.
  • Assist in hosting regulatory and customer audits.
  • Train and develop QA staff as needed.
  • Provide guidance on Quality considerations across manufacturing, testing, and release processes.
  • Support materials management, supplier qualification, and technical agreements.
  • Maintain validation activities and HACCP in line with BRC standards.
  • Lead Quality improvement projects.
  • Perform any other quality-related activities as assigned.
