This highly specialist job provides clinical leadership and psychological health services for patients within care pathways for children, young people, and adults with Differences in Sex Development. Responsibilities include service development, multidisciplinary team support, psychosocial team leadership, regional and national representation, and coordination. The role involves contribution to medical and surgical clinical teams and divisional responsibilities delegated by the Consultant Psychologist, making it a varied leadership position for a clinical subject specialist.
Key duties include coordination, clinical care, leadership, and improvement to ensure systematic psychology services. Providing training, clinical supervision, and consultation, functioning as a lead specialist within clinical specialties and wider Psychological Health Services. Conducting and supervising psychological research, service evaluation, and audit activities collaboratively with other professional groups.
Managing and supervising staff within Psychological Health Services and performing duties delegated by the Consultant Psychologist.
