Role Overview:
Endur Tech Engineer to work on Front and Mid Office elements for our Power Trading team. This role involves working in the power sector related to trading and managing power generation assets, including wind, solar, batteries, and CCG power stations. The team supports systems that enable trading decisions, trade execution, and risk management, including implementing operating models and integrating new systems and data feeds into existing trading and risk management systems (ETRMs). The primary responsibility is to implement these changes on the ETRM (Endur Openlink).
What you will have:
- Hands-on experience implementing and extending features in OpenLink Endur.
- Experience working on Physical and Financial Power and Gas Markets.
- Ability to work independently as a BA lead and support other BAs.
- Experience across all trading floor areas, focusing on Front and Mid Office.
- Expertise in non-linear instruments in a Commodity/Energy Trading environment and their representation in Openlink Endur.
- Experience liaising with Traders and Quant developers on option pricing models, including complex cross-commodity physical options.
- Configuration experience for Deal lifecycle, Confirmations, Settlement invoicing, and scheduling in Endur.
- Creative problem-solving skills within a transparent change control process.
- Understanding of Endur Reporting architecture, including risk simulation results and modules like APM, TPM, DMS, Connex, and EOD workflows.
- Knowledge of Endur deployment procedures, including CMM import/export and cloud DevOps.
- Experience working with business analysts and traders to elaborate requirements and design solutions.
- Ability to implement testing regimes to ensure solution quality.
- Experience working with hybrid teams using Scrum methodology where relevant.
- Strong communication skills for operating across complex business environments and stakeholders, including senior executives.
- Familiarity with analytical software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a structured approach.
- Experience with agile delivery.
- Experience in global power markets.
- Experience in complex contracts and power purchase agreement modelling, including deal valuation and lifecycle management.
- Experience in power asset optimisation and tolling agreements modelling.
