Job description

Job Description

Cloud Migration Architect required to work for an NHS organisation. This is a fully remote, day rate role. The rate is £395 per day, Inside IR35. The role is predominantly remote.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Lead on developing the migration approach for all product teams, maximising opportunities to use open-source technologies and optimise the design to gain maximum benefit from the cloud.
  2. Develop reusable patterns and processes to enable new products to be rapidly built and deployed into the cloud in a safe and secure way.
  3. Lead on technical engagements within the CTP and between the CTP, appointed technical suppliers, and various teams to ensure work progresses at pace and issues are resolved.
  4. Develop work packages for suppliers to support the migration and related developments as required.
  5. Ensure services and products are aligned with industry best practices, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  6. Provide technical leadership to operations, infrastructure, and FinOps teams to optimise performance and costs of IT infrastructure.
  7. Act as the escalation point for any technical programme issues and champion operational excellence.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Professional Registration: CITP
  • CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership
  • ITIL 4 Leader in Digital and IT Strategy
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and practices
  • Knowledge of digital health in the NHS
  • Understanding of clinical safety and risk management in digital health
