Job summary

A leading UK consultancy is seeking a Permanent Principal Civil Engineer in the Water Division, based in their Newcastle Office. Responsibilities include leading civil engineering design for water and wastewater projects, ensuring best practices and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, a degree in Civil Engineering, and membership in a professional body.

Qualifications

• Membership in relevant professional body (ICE/CIWEM).
• Experience on the AMP Framework or similar.
• Ability to provide 2 references.

Job Description:

I am currently seeking a Permanent Principal Civil Engineer to work within the Water Division of a UK Consultancy. This position will be based out of their Newcastle Office.

This role would include, but not be limited to the below

• Ensure best practices are followed at all times.
• Responsible for the project's civil engineering design.
• Working with the project design team/leads to ensure successful project delivery and outcomes
• Projects would include, but not be limited to clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Previous civil water experience with a consultancy or similar
• Previous experience on the AMP Framework, Water Framework or Similar
• Member of relevant professional body – (ICE/CIWEM) or similar
• 2x References
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Similar
