A UK Consultancy is seeking a Permanent Principal Civil Engineer to join their Water Division based in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering, relevant consultancy experience, and be a member of a professional body. This key role involves civil engineering design for projects including clean water and wastewater treatment, ensuring best practices for project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2x references required.
• Membership in relevant professional body (ICE/CIWEM or similar).
• Experience on AMP Framework and Water Framework preferred.

Job Description:

I am currently seeking a Permanent Principal Civil Engineer to work within the Water Division of a UK Consultancy. This position will be based out of their Newcastle Office.

This role would include, but not be limited to the below

• Ensure best practices are followed at all times.
• Responsible for the project's civil engineering design.
• Working with the project design team/leads to ensure successful project delivery and outcomes
• Projects would include, but not be limited to clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Previous civil water experience with a consultancy or similar
• Previous experience on the AMP Framework, Water Framework or Similar
• Member of relevant professional body – (ICE/CIWEM) or similar
• 2x References
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Similar
