Job summary

A leading UK consultancy seeks a Permanent Principal Civil Engineer for their Water Division, based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will lead civil engineering designs, ensuring best practices while working on projects related to water treatment and urban drainage. Candidates should have prior consultancy experience, a degree in civil engineering, and membership in a relevant professional body.

Qualifications

• Experience in clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, urban drainage.
• Familiarity with the AMP Framework and Water Framework.
• Membership in relevant professional bodies (ICE/CIWEM) required.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

I am currently seeking a Permanent Principal Civil Engineer to work within the Water Division of a UK Consultancy. This position will be based out of their Newcastle Office.

This role would include, but not be limited to the below

• Ensure best practices are followed at all times.
• Responsible for the project's civil engineering design.
• Working with the project design team/leads to ensure successful project delivery and outcomes
• Projects would include, but not be limited to clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Previous civil water experience with a consultancy or similar
• Previous experience on the AMP Framework, Water Framework or Similar
• Member of relevant professional body – (ICE/CIWEM) or similar
• 2x References
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Similar
