Bring your skills to the mix as a Principal Waste Water Process Engineer , y ou'll play a vital role in every aspect of process engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad .

We specialise in all aspects of process engineering, within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in other sectors such as nuclear. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle from feasibility to process commissioning adding value through client-side support. We currently have opportunities in our Bristol office.

Your purpose:

  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

What you can bring:

  • Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
  • Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Fundamental understanding and experience of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment process.
  • Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations: primary / secondary / tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management.
  • Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations.
  • Awareness of process modelling techniques and software, e.g. BioWIn , SUMO.
