Job Description:

We are looking for a Principal Vulnerability Engineer to be part of the security vulnerability team for the Java platform. The team conducts both red team (offensive) and blue team (defensive) duties. Responsibilities include proactive research, security tooling, assessments, and assisting development teams with security code review. The candidate must have at least 10+ years of hands-on experience in platform security, with deep knowledge of the Java security model. Proven experience with security protocols, incident resolution, and industry-standard tools is essential. Proficiency in Java and expert-level C/C++ skills are required, along with systems-level programming. Strong leadership, self-motivation, remote collaboration, and communication skills are necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Research new vulnerability signatures for the Java platform.
• Create and maintain security tooling for Java.
• Conduct security assessments for new features in the JDK.
• Assist development teams with security code review, including Java and native code.
