Wigan Council is seeking a Principal Venue Manager to shape the future of Wigan Market at Fettlers. This senior, hands-on leader role focuses on delivering vibrant, multi-tenant experiences for traders, customers and the community.

You will set strategy, drive performance and be highly visible on the ground, ensuring trader success and delivering a destination the borough is proud of. A 37-hour week and salary from £55,224 to £59,273 accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Experience managing markets, food halls, hospitality, events or multi-tenant venues.
• Commercially astute with strong people and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required.
