Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Principal Transport Planner for a hybrid role in the UK. You will lead development planning projects, review transport assessments and support planning approvals across a varied workload.

The role offers progression from Senior to Principal and a focus on technically robust transport advice. The successful candidate will manage client relationships, oversee project programmes and mentor junior team members within a supportive multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Strong UK development planning experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage projects independently.
• Commercial awareness and client liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans.
• Undertake access appraisals and feasibility studies.
• Produce technical notes and planning documentation.
• Advise clients on transport strategy from pre-application to submission.
• Support projects through planning conditions, S106 and S278.
• Liaise with developers, architects and planning authorities.
• Mentor junior Transport Planners and manage budgets.
