Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Principal Transport Planner to join its Development Planning team in a hybrid Bristol-based role. You will lead the production of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and related planning documentation, guiding projects from pre-application through to submission.

The role offers flexible Bristol/Woking/London office options, competitive salary (£45k-£65k+ DOE), and clear progression within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Strong UK development planning experience.
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Undertake access appraisals and feasibility studies.
• Produce technical notes and supporting planning documents.
• Advise clients on transport strategy from pre-application to submission.
• Support projects through planning conditions and S278/S106 matters.
• Mentor junior transport planners.
