Placements24 is seeking a Principal Telecommunications Engineer for a fully remote, strategic role. You will lead design and deployment of advanced telecom systems, mentor senior and junior engineers, and drive technology direction across large-scale network infrastructure.

Applicants should have 10+ years in telecom engineering, deep knowledge of IP routing, MPLS, 4G/5G, and a track record of delivering complex projects in remote environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of telecommunications engineering experience with focus on network design.
• Proven leadership of complex engineering projects from conception to delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of complex telecom systems and infrastructure.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Architect and optimize network performance, scalability, and reliability for large-scale deployments.
• Evaluate new technologies and drive adoption to improve services.
• Develop and maintain high-level technical roadmaps and strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve challenging network and system issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and R&D.
• Represent the company in technical forums and industry standards.
