We are currently seeking a Principal CCUS Technologist, reporting directly to the Head of Technology, to join our team based in either London or Milton Keynes.

About the mission:

We seek a Principal CCUS Technologist to serve as a subject matter expert in gas processing technologies, mainly carbon capture and amine processes. You will work with other technologists, oversee technology input to projects and proposals, lead local R&D activities, recommend and implement new technological designs, and coordinate with other T.EN offices to ensure a consistent approach and promote T.EN’s technological expertise internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of carbon capture and amine technologies within the local office, including R&D activities.
  • Ensure proper technology input into proposals and projects.
  • Participate in project activities requiring technological input, such as client reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, and review of key deliverables.
  • Contribute to project activities to ensure correct technology application and performance guarantees.
  • Promote T.EN technologies to clients and internally.
  • Prepare presentations for conferences to promote T.EN.
  • Write technical papers to publish and promote T.EN’s technology.
  • Develop technology risk assessments and performance guarantees.
  • Manage budgets for assigned technologies and R&D activities.
  • Coordinate with T.EN peers and product lines.
  • Conduct internal training on T.EN technologies.
  • Attend and evaluate plant test runs to demonstrate performance guarantees.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, HSE standards, and engineering excellence.
  • Foster continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability in T.EN designs and operations.
  • Manage personnel as needed, ensuring productivity, compliance with budgets and schedules, and conducting performance reviews.

About you:

To succeed, you should have:

  • A university degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Significant experience in process engineering and technology.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant technological fields and process disciplines.
  • Experience communicating technical solutions to clients.
